SYSOPS (System's Operations)
This support is offered in two formats; with eNVy Software Technologies and with-out. The two support format provide to clients who desire tools to facilitate integration with the OpenVMS system support.
SYSOPS support provides 7 day a week with 24 hour telephone remote support. Each support client's network is accessed via a dedicated VMWare virtual machine, a VPN tunnel or via a hosted PC owned by the client. Any configuration ensures immediate access to the client's system to address any issue.
SYSOPS Coverage Short List:
- Priority 7x24 telephone and remote access to eNVy System's Engineers
- Any OpenVMS issue.
- Any MANMAN issue.
- Any Layered Product Issue.
- Access to a vast library of client/eNVy developed tools.
- Project discounts for conversions, implementations, new software, custom commands, integrated solutions, etc.
- Codasyl DBMS Assessment and database reorganizations (Unload/Reloads)
- OpenVMS System Tuning
- Codasyl DBMS Tuning
- Business continuation following an system or database failure.
- System Hot-Standby: minimize downtime caused by system failures.
- Database Hot-Standby : minimize downtime caused by database/system failures and ensure maximum uptime/validation of the Codasyl DBMS/Rdb databases.
Any/all issues are initiated by the client via telephone and the eNVy Engineer immediately logs onto the client's host system to access, advise and implemented corrective action if directed to do so.
Support is administered via a dedicated PC/VMWare Virtual machine via a VPN client or via a dedicated VPN tunnel from the eNVy System's San Jose, CA office to the client.
